VP OF FINANCE

The Florida West Coast Chapter of APICS is looking for a VP of Finance.

Job Description


Primary Responsibility:

Maintain adequate financial records each month and report the results of such in the form of a Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Transaction Summary and a Cash Flow to Budget Report to the Board of Directors. As an officer of the chapter, provide input as to the strategic and financial direction and objectives of the chapter.

Specific Duties:
  1. Manage the chapter chart of accounts
  2. Develop an annual budget
  3. Receive and deposit all monies into chapter accounts
  4. Pay chapter financial obligations
  5. Maintain financial transactions in Quicken software
  6. Match expense items to budget items
  7. Prepare monthly financial reports and present at the monthly BOD meetings
    • a. Balance Sheet
    • b. Income Statement
    • c. Transaction Summary Report
    • d. Annual Cash Flow & Budget Analysis
  8. File corporate annual returns
    • a. Annual Federal 990 Form
    • b. Florida Annual Report
  9. Invest residual funds
  10. Attend monthly BOD meetings
  11. Attend Monthly PDP meetings
  12. Attend Transition and Mid Year Review meetings
Required Skills/Capability:

  3. Quicken, Excel, Word experience
  4. Communications skills
  5. email capability
  6. Financial analytical skills
