Job Description
  • Monitor and release shop orders per the independent requirement schedule.
  • Develop and utilize ERP/MES systems and methods as to insure proper priority is being maintained in production, test and support areas.
  • Monitor build and test progress to insure that execution is occurring as planned.
  • Act as the Customer Support Center (CSC) focal point for reporting status and issues affecting schedule.
  • Contribute to program rundown meetings to review status, issues and actions with other functions and management.
  • Maintain schedule status formats and action registers to drive timely resolution of issues that are affecting on-time schedule execution.
  • Maintain constant awareness of issues that are impacting or have a potential to impact schedule. Take action to eliminate delays and impacts.
  • Organize and lead cross functional teams to address schedule impacts and develop work-around plans.
  • Coordinate various resource availabilities to insure that schedules are met.
  • Expedite processes, people and products to drive schedule execution.
  • Monitor and review ERP system for proper scheduling and inventory messages. Identify and report all issues affecting system integrity. Participate on teams and recommend corrective actions to improve systems effectiveness.
  • Lead and participate on teams to investigate and resolve issues affecting system/process/department efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Working and scheduling the repair of Clearwater defense products.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Business or other related discipline
  • Must have 0-3 years of hands-on experience working as a Material Coordinator with the SAP ERP/MES System knowledge
  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • Six Sigma Certification desired
  • Effective communicator
  • Self Starter - Ability to work independently

Job Description Program Execution
  • Track program expenditures against budget, review and evaluate cost baselines, and assist in the preparation of monthly program estimates, and perform CAM duties for EVM support. Evaluate and assist in status using program schedules from MS Project working with the program managers and subcontracts administrators to assure on time execution. Regular interface with all members of the integrated product team (IPT) to assure deliveries are in accordance with customer requirements. Manage all IPT activities as Team leader for those areas assigned. Travel to and interface with customer and/or suppliers as required. Maintain the program historical cost database. Prepare and monitor all material requirements planning, material requisitions, work orders, receipts, and issues for program. Maintain control, traceability, and accountability of General Dynamics-OTS and Government Owned Assets in compliance with MMAS, FAR, DFAR, and General Dynamics OTS policies and procedures. Identify, analyze, investigate, resolve material usage and attrition problems, administrative problems and delays, and develop reporting to highlight problems and manage corrective actions. Support continuous improvement activities.

    Logistics Coordination
  • Coordinate all domestic and international logistics requirements between material suppliers and logistics providers. Ensure all Dept. of State, ITAR, and BATF, and domestic regulatory requirements met to support shipping. Ensure verification of deliveries is received in a timely manner for each shipment. Maintain the program historical weights and dimensions database. Develop and maintain a program scope of work for logistics. Develop a program specific/special requirements template for logistics. Manage Integrated Logistics Support content for program.

    Proposal Coordination
  • Coordination of proposal activities to include development of scopes of work, review of supplier quotations, preparation of Basis of Estimate (BOE), assist in pricing strategy and review of final proposals for completeness & accuracy. Assist in the preparation of internal and external program briefings. Ensure proposal due dates are met.
  • Qualifications Basic Qualifications
    Bachelor's Degree in related field, ten or more years of experience in planning, transportation logistics, integrated logistics support, and/or scheduling. Strong analytical skills using computer tools and systems such as MRP, MRPII, ERP, MS Project, Excel or other analytical tools, or similar planning/scheduling software. Familiar with regulations and requirements for supporting domestic and international shipments including hazardous materials.

    Preferred Qualifications
    DOD and Manufacturing related experience preferred. APICS Certification preferred.
