APICS Florida West Coast Chapter Meeting

The APICS Florida West Coast Chapter held it's final meeting for the 2006-2007 year June 12th. Presentations from the Board of Directors focused on the Chapter's activities for the past year and the direction will take for the new year.

The exciting thing about this meeting is where the Member of the Year and the Company of the Year awards are presented.

This year, the Company of the Year award was presented to Cardio Command for their dedication to education and the APICS Body of Knowledge. Accepting for Cardio Command is their president, Mr. Jerry Maass, shown here receiving the award from Chapter President Rick Hollingsworth:

The Member of the Year is an award given to a Chapter member who has shown the most dedication to the APICS Body of Knowledge through actions. The Member of the Year also is judged by those additional things that make that person so valuable. This year's recipient has shown those traits and has volunteered hours to the Chapter Board of Directors. This year's Member of the Year is Mr. James Moore, PMP of Cardio Command, shown here receiving the award from Chapter President Rick Hollingsworth. .

The new Chapter Board of Directors was introduced:

Keith Chaisson, President

Jerry Kilty, Secretary

John Foster, VP of Finance

James Moore, VP of Education

Linda Hermann, VP of Programs

Dave Newman, VP of Marketing

Rick Kramer, VP of Membership

Rick Hollingsworth, Past President

One last presentaiton was made to Rick Hollingsworth, as he leaves the office of President of the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter. Rick was EVP and President from 2004 through 2007. Presenting Rick with an award of recognition for Service to the Chapter, is Keith Chaisson, incoming Chapter President:
