PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

It is with great pride the we announce that the Florida West Coast Chapter of APICS has achieved the level of GOLD status for the year 2006-2007. Since the chapter has achieved this level for more than five consecutive years, we achieve PLATINUM status. This makes 13 straight years of PLATINUM. A true testament to the Chapter Board and the Chapter Membership, since it is you, our loyal members, who push us to exceed the minimum standards established by APICS for all chapters.

Our new season begins with the September 11th meeting at Tucson's. We believe this to be an exciting year. Linda Hermann, VP of Programs, has arranged for a great calendar of speakers. To visit the meetnig schedule, [click here...]. This also includes a presentation by Abe Eshkenazi, APICS COO and Executive Director. His presentation will be on the future of APICS and the exciting things happening. We are presenting this a our "Top Management Night". We encourage every company to bring their top management to this meeting.

The September meeting is held on a day that holds many memories for everyone. The APICS PDP meeting of Septmber 11, 2001 was cancelled because of the events of the day. We encourage everyone to remember the events of that day in their own way and honor the memory of those who perished in the tragedy as well as the memory of those men and women who fight for our country's freedom daily on the fielde of battle.
