Our April PDM features Dick Verbeek, CPIM, CIRM President of Performance Plus Consultants. Dick is known in APICS circles for his highly interactive presentations and workshops. Come prepared to experience some critical success factors associated with supply chain management through a series of group simulations that are designed to entertain and challenge your understanding of this vitally important topic.

The agenda includes measures of success, industry benchmarks, the results of recent supply chain research, and some helpful hints to improve supply chain collaboration. There will also be an opportunity to participate in a collaborative service supply chain partnership.

Speaker: Dick Verbeek, CPIM CIRM

Dick Verbeek, CPIM CIRM is the founder, owner, and President of Performance Plus Consultants, an industry leader in the delivery of experiential learning in continuous improvement and supply chain concepts. Prior to entering the consulting and educational field, he was employed in industry for over eighteen years in a variety of positions including Materials Manager, Internal Quality Consultant, and Information Analyst. He led projects, which successfully achieved Class A MRPII registration, ISO9001 registration, and the implementation of VMI/CRP in the retail sector.

Dick Verbeek has a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Toronto. He served on the board of directors for the Toronto chapter of APICS, the Association for Operations Management, from 1992-1995 and is a frequent speaker at the APICS International Conference.

As a consultant for the past sixteen years, Mr. Verbeek has assisted numerous organizations develop and implement Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand management, forecasting, and inventory management business solutions.
