6:30-8:00 Dinner and Speaker Presentation

Dick will wrap up the supply chain part of this season's presentations. I should be an enjoyable evening.

It is with a heavy heart that we make this the first newsletter where the programs message is not written by Craig Williams. Craig is now residing in North Carolina where has has taken a new opportunity. Our 2004 Member Of The Year will be missed.

But we are pleased to announce that Linda Hermann (one of our newest CSCP's) has accepted the opportunity to be VP of Programs. April will be her first exposure to the coordination of the meeting. The Board offers our best wishes in her new position.

But that is not the only good thing happening. Dave Newman has accepted the position of VP of Marketing. Dave's background in marketing should greatly enhance the Chapter's ability to become known in the marketplace. APICS is not well known in the smaller companies and we hope to be able to enter this area where it is more important for companies to be versed in the body of knowledge to "level" their playing field. Dave is replacing one of our past president's Rick Colyar who's residency sounth of the bay and his international travel for his company has severely curtailed his ability to part of the Chapter Board. Rick's heart will always be in the Chapter and we thank him for many years of support.

May brings around the yearly Board of Directors vote. If you have any candidates, please contact Chapter President Rick Hollingsworth with nominees. We will try using Zoomerang to electronically vote. It seemed to work well for the Chapter Membership Survey. To view those results, click on the survey button at the bottom of the newsletter to see a summary.

As a reminder, due to escalating costs, the cost to attend the dinner meetings as been changed to $30 for all attendees. Students remain $15.
IMPORTANT REMINDER! April is the third of four professional, full-day, in-depth seminar opportunities we are hosting this year, with all of the courses and registration details posted on our website at http://www.apics-flwc.org/BOD/Seminar/SeminarSeriesReminderFlyer011607.pdf. This seminar's topic is "Supply Chain Management", with Dick Verbeek as our educator, and is schedule for Wednesday, April 11th 2007. Be sure to sign up now! Seminars
Best regards.
