 From the June 2006 Dinner Cruise A balmy summerís greeting to my fellow chapter members, friends and guests. Our June 10th Professional Development Program meeting is our last meeting for this PDP season. Please note we will not be meeting in July and August. We will kick off our next Professional Development Program meeting September 10th. Our speaker presenting at this meeting is our very own Jerry Kilty, CFPIM CIRM CSCP, whose selected topic for the evening is ìInventory or Cycle Count - The Great Debateî. Every company around the world, large and small, at one time or another has wrestled with the task of managing inventory. Jerryís discussion will outline the proís and conís of each philosophy, its history and its future. In addition, this meeting is also the time we present our Annual Chapter Report and awards for individual or organizational development or contribution to our education efforts. Chaisson The end of the 2007/2008 year is near. The Chapter year ends June 30. At that point the newly elected Board of Directors is installed to begin their year's work. The most significant change is our VP of Finance, John Foster, will be leaving the Board due to his level of travels with his company. In his place, Steve Mahoney will be joining the Board in that Position. Another significant change is adding PJ Christiano as Executive Vice President. That position supports the President and he will be working in the planning process for the direction of the Chapter. We welcome them to the Board. [Click Here....] |
