At the end of every board year, the Chapter votes on two awards. First is COMPANY OF THE YEAR This year our selection is: ![]()
TRC has exhibited those traits that are critical in our selection. They have supported tha APICS philosophy by using the APICS Body of Knowledge in the business. TRC was our first company to actively participate in the new Lean Series education offerings. They have also sent several employees through certification programs and have encouraged employee participation with the Chapter itself. Our second award is an example of that Board participation. Steve Mahoney, CPIM Even though he looks like he's only 12 years old, Steve is a mature young individual who has joined the Chapter Board of Directors as Vice President of Finance. Since APICS is about personal as well as professional development, Steve's participation has shown that he is willing to "stretch" into new areas. With minimal financial background he has make a huge contribution in the financial position. This helps him personanly by giving him additional exposure to new areas and it will also help him in his business knowledge by learning more about how businesses handle their finances. Steve has achieved his CPIM certification this past year and is currently working on his CSCP. We offer our congratulations and thanks for their active APICS participation.
